Poor planning means Brits will spend £2.4 billion on additional costs for summer holidays

The YouGov survey of 2,022 adults released today shows 37 per cent spend up to £200 on extras such as airport transfers, shopping and insurance, increasing the cost of an average holiday by 20 per cent.

Nearly half, 49 per cent, spend an average of £100 extra per holiday, adding 10 per cent on the price of the holiday.
