How minicabit works
Not sure how minicabit works? Here’s the lowdown:
minicabit isn’t your typical cab service. We have brought together over 800 licensed cab fleets across over 550 UK towns and cities to help you find the best deal for your trip in four easy steps.
-
- Tell us where you need to go and we’ll instantly search our network to find you the best quotes from all the fleets available for your particular trip
-
- Pick a fleet based on their price, their rating by customer rating and other features (inc pet friendly vehicles, executive cars, electric cars, wifi in car)
-
- You can book using all major credit cards or Paypal
-
- You’ll instantly receive confirmation via email and SMS and you’ll be updated before the trip when the driver is on their way.
The fleet’s star ratings are based directly on customer reviews so after the trip, let us know how it went. Your rating will help others with their next booking.

Other features include:
-
- Worried about York taxi prices at peak times or want to compare Norwich taxis? The price you see for your taxi to Birmingham Airport for example, is the price you pay. Every price is fixed, no hidden extras and no surge.
-
- Flexible booking: For peace of mind, if your plans change, trips can be cancelled for free any time before the cab has been dispatched to your location. (specific cut off time will be in your confirmation email) This flexibility applies wherever you’re travelling – whether you need a Southampton taxi, or a taxi in Edinburgh, book online for a last‑minute change of plans, a Bath taxi service for a weekend getaway, or the cheapest taxi Bournemouth has to offer for a coastal trip. Heading further south? We’ll compare Plymouth taxis for you.
- Need to book a Manchester to Manchester airport transfer? All airport pickups include ‘Meet and Greet’ with a name board at arrivals. Worried about a delay? Your London City Airport taxi driver will monitor your flight and adjust your pickup time if there are changes. Whether you’re travelling to or from the airport, you can use the same booking process to compare Edinburgh Airport taxis, book a Glasgow Airport taxi or arrange a taxi to Liverpool Airport, then select a fixed-price quote that suits your journey.
-
- We cover the whole of the UK. Heading north and need an Aberdeen taxi or book a taxi to Glasgow? You can book a taxi Doncaster residents rely on, or get a Guildford taxi quote if you’re travelling in the South East. Looking further afield, a Hull minicab is just a few clicks away, or you can book a Leicestershire taxi for county-wide coverage. Need to travel to the East Midlands? Find a cheap taxi Lincoln residents approve of or a Leicester taxi through our network.
